Itinerary

Pokhara Day Tour covers the major destinations in Pokhara .

  • Phewa Lake
When the name Pokhara comes to our mind, Phewa lake and Annapurna ranges are the two names that comes with it itself. Phewa Lake is the second largest lake in Nepal that adds to the magnificence of Pokhara city. The wooden boats at the lake with the endless book shops, lodges and restaurants along the lakeside make the whole environment vivid and vibrant. At the middle of the lake stands the famous Barahi temple. In this lake, you can engage yourself in various activities like boating, sailing, bird watching, fishing, etc. The reflection of the Fishtail Mountain in the crystal clear and serene water of Phewa Lake is something not to be missed.
  • David’s fall
About 2km south west of Pokhara airport on the highway to Tansen is a beautiful waterfall known as David’s fall. It was named after a foreigner David who was swept into an underground passage beneath the fall while swimming in the Pardi Khola.
  • Gupteshwor Temple
There is a mysterious cave near the David’s fall known as Gupteshwor Gupha. It holds an auspicious value among the Hindu pilgrims because inside the cave is a well preserved shivalinga (phallic form of Lord Shiva) where people come and worship Lord Shiva. Therefore, it is also popularly known as the Gupteshwor temple.
  • International mountain museum
International mountain museum is a popular museum at the footstep of the fishtail peak and a gateway to the mountain region. The shape of the museum roof itself resembles the mountain skyline which is a unique feature of this museum. This museum maintains a systematic record of all the successful eight thousanders, geographic flora and fauna and all the major human activities in the range.

Fix Departure

Travel Insurance is mandatory for all customers who looking to travel in Nepal with the Mountain Hiking & Trekking .The Travel Insurance must cover both the evacuation and medical cost
There are many insurance companies that offer travel insurance services over the internet. You can choose from a wide variety of insurance companies as per your convenience. Especially when it comes to trekking in Nepal, there is always a narrow chance of minor health issues, injuries and most importantly – altitude sickness.

It is essential that you prefer an insurance rule that covers the cost of the helicopter rescue from the mountains in case of main accidents and delicate mountain sickness (AMS). through such great cases of an emergency evacuation, a helicopter service is the only way out of the mountains. This includes a rescue team for both – ground evacuation and rescue. Which is why we need your travel insurances to cover the cost of helicopter services and evacuation from the Himalayas

It is forever recovered to be safe than apologetic.

Before you plan your trip with Mountain Hiking & Trekking do make sure that your travel insurance covers all the costs mentioned above from a reliable company.
