Itinerary

Day 1 KATHMANDU Arrive At International Airport Kathmandu.

Upon arrival met & welcome by representative from Mountain Hiking & Trekking, assist and transfer to the Hotel. Free days, tour discussion with Guide and Manager Overnight at Hotel.

Day 2KATHMANDU- city tour after beakfat 8 A.M.:

Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu city including the old Durbar square -protected as an UNESCO world Heritage Site, Old Royal Palace, the Temple of the Living Goddess as well as Kasthamandup – a temple built from a single tree from which the city of Kathmandu derives its name. Swayambhunath – the oldest Buddhist shrine, looking east from here one can see the entire Kathmandu valley spread out below.

P.M.: Sightseeing tour of Pasupatinath Temple – the most sacred of the Hindu temples in Nepal dedicated to Lord Shiva built in 1696. Pasupatinath draws thousands of pilgrims every year and devotees from all over the world. We continue on to Boudhanath – the world’s largest stupa, it looms 36 meters high and presents one of the most fascinating specimens of stupa design. Pasupatinath and Boudhanath are also listed in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 3Early in the Morning around 7 am drive to domestic airport and Flight to Pokhara

Day 05POKHARA- CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK drive to Chitwan.

On arrival the guests will be met by the naturalists and transferred by the river boats and elephants / land rovers to the Lodge / Camp. Royal Chit wan National Park, who is the home of the rare one horned rhinoceros, sloth bear, wild boar, guar (bison), 4 species of deer, and 2 Species of monkeys, 2 species of crocodiles, leopard, the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, over 450 species of birds and various other reptiles. The Manager will brief the guests about the activities at the camp and assign the rooms. In the late afternoon, the guests will be taken for a jungle safari on elephant back so that they can penetrate deep into the jungle for viewing and photographing wildlife or a jungle walk is organized for the guests to experience the abundant bird life and the flora and fauna of the Park. If you are lucky, you may see the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger both on nature walk as well as on elephant safari. Well stocked bar will cater to the needs of the thirsty. A hearty meal of continental or Nepalese cuisine will be served in the evening around the campfire. Overnight at the Lodge /Camp.

Day 06CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK

 Early morning guests will be mounted on elephant back and taken for a jungle safari for 2-3 hours penetrating through dense grasslands to view wildlife. This grass commonly known as elephant grass is dense and grows to a height 18-20 ft. It is the favorite’s habitat of the rhinoceros and other mammals. After breakfast, the guests are taken to our elephant stables where the senior naturalists will give a talk about the habits of the elephants. Here one may witness the rare scene of the elephants at bath. Lunch at the camp.
In the afternoon you may relax around the camp or take a drive through the jungles in land rovers followed by a dugout canoe ride down the Narayani river where there are very good chances of viewing the gharial crocodiles as well as the mugger crocodiles, fresh water dolphins, others and varieties of water birds or you may go on a nature walk or bird watching with one of our naturalists to know about the flora of the Royal Chit wan National Park. At the end of the canoe ride, waiting land rovers will drive you back to the camp.
In the evening there will be a Nepalese folk dance programme featuring Tharu dances and other Nepalese folk dances. A hearty and tasty dinner will be served around the campfire. Overnight at the Lodge / Camp.

Day 07CHITWAN-NAGARKOT

after breakfast drive  back to Kathmandu and on arrival Transfer to Nagarkot (1 hour drive). Continue drive to Nagarkot. Nagarkot – at a height of 2,099 meters above sea level, the hill to is visited for viewing beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the Himalayas. Check into hotel and free for Sun set views in the evening

Day 08 Nagarkot - KATHMANDU

After Sunrise Views and Breakfast, drive back to Bhaktapur city tour after that back to kathamandu your hotel, free in afternoon as your own for shopping or just relax at hotel.
