Pikey Peak Trek is a less crowded and off-beat trekking route in the Everest region of Nepal. It offers spectacular views of the Himalayan range including Mt. Everest, Mt. Makalu, and Mt. Kanchenjunga. Which takes you to the Pikey Peak (4,065m/13,335ft) It is a less crowded and less explored route compared to other popular treks in the Everest region, making it a perfect choice for those who want to experience the beauty of the Himalayas in a peaceful and less crowded environment. The trek takes you through traditional Sherpa villages, Buddhist monasteries, and lush forests.

Itinerary

Day 1Arrival in Kathmandu Upon arrival at the Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu, you will be greeted by our representative

Transfer to hotel

Day 2Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar (2,800m/9,184ft) Drive from Kathmandu to Dhap Bazaar.

The drive takes around 6-7 hours. Overnight at local Tea house

 

Day 3Dhap Bazaar to Jhapre (2,805m/9,203ft) Begin trekking from Dhap Bazaar to Jhapre.

Day 4Jhapre to Pikey Base Camp (3,640m/11,942ft) Trek from Jhapre to Pikey Base Camp. The trek takes around 6-7 hours

Day 5Pikey Base Camp to Pikey Peak (4,065m/13,337ft) to Loding (2,590m/8,497ft)

Early morning hike to Pikey Peak for sunrise views. The hike takes around 2-3 hours. Descend back to Pikey Base Camp for breakfast, then continue trekking to Loding. The trek takes around 5-6 hours. Stay overnight in a local tea house.

Day 06Loding to Junbesi (2,700m/8,858ft) Trek from Loding to Junbesi.

The trek takes around 6-7 hours. Stay overnight in a local tea house.

Day 07unbesi to Taksindu (3,070m/10,072ft) Trek from Junbesi to Taksindu

The trek takes around 5-6 hours. Stay overnight in a local tea house.

Day 08Taksindu to Phaplu (2,413m/7,917ft) Trek from Taksindu to Phaplu.

The trek takes around 5-6 hours. Stay overnight in a local tea house.

Day 09Phaplu to Kathmandu Fly from Phaplu to Kathmandu.

The flight takes around 30 minutes. Stay overnight in a hotel in Kathmandu.
